Do you store my credit card information?
We never see or store your credit card information, even during checkout.
We use something called Tokenization.
We do not host the credit card input fields from our checkout page on our server. Our payment provider (Moneris) securely inject these fields into our checkout from their PCI-Level 1 certified server.
When you enter your credit card information, your data goes to their PCI-Level 1 certified server that generates an encrypted token that works only with the meels credit card processing account.
We then use that token to process your payment, and we then store that token for future use to enjoy one-click checkout on future orders.
In the unlikely event where we experience a data breach, and a hacker steals your data, the hackers would have a useless encrypted word that not only doesn't mean anything but cannot ever be used. They would not see your data, nor do we.
